Songwriting, Performance and Production Workshop

October 9th - 11th

This is the first time a "hands on" creative event like this has been offered to the public in Australia.

Designed to empower and educate you about the process of "hit" songwriting, performance, & production, plus offer insights into various aspects of the international music industry from the creative person's viewpoint, in a relaxed environment.

This is your chance to spend three days "up close and personal"with an invited team of high profile USA songwriter/producer/artists in a seminar/workshop setting that will include a special "in-the-round" concert performance & background on some of their "hits", with master classes on songwriting, lyrics, and production. A top vocal consultant will be on hand as well to oversee performances. There will be collaboration exercises where the participants will be assigned to write original songs with each other, and some of these original compositions will be critiqued by the US guests, plus a final night performance for friends and family featuring selected songs written by the participants during the workshop.

Together the "Very Best of the US in Oz" invited guests have written international "hit" songs like "Toy Soldiers" (Martika & Eminem), "Saved The Best For Last" & "The Sweetest Days" (Vanessa Williams), "Over & Over" (Puff Johnson/First Wives Club), I Owe You One" (Aaron Neville), "Jesus Will Still Be There" (Point of Grace), "Fishin' In The Dark" (Garth Brooks), "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" (Whitney Houston & Jermaine Jackson), "Heartbeat" (Don Johnson), & "I Drive Myself Crazy" (Nsync)
